This boy is getting so big!!

He's done it again...this boy is pooping on the potty now and is well onto his way of being fully potty trained FINALLY!!! It's so crazy because he just woke up Mother's Day and decided to pee in the toilet and does it every time (unless he's outside then it's on the fence or in between Grandpa's sheds LOL). Well now he has decided since yesterday that he's going to poop in the potty and he's done it ever since yesterday! This boy amazes me how stubborn he is! He doesn't wanna do it when you want him to...he'll just up and do it on his own! It is so nice to not have to worry about changing his diaper or asking him constantly if he's gotta go potty cause he just goes in and does it on his own, hand washing and all! Such a smart boy I have. So since I'm thinking about how old he's getting, I started looking at pics of him at around Austin's age (I'll post pics of Austin tomorrow after I upload some recent ones). It's amazing to me how much older Hayden looks at this age. Austin is just so baby looking to me still. Maybe it's because he's not walking yet and Hayden was cruising all over the place at this age. Austin's more of a mama's boy too than Hayden was at this age. Hayden was so independent and wanted to do everything himself all times. It's also crazy how much they look alike! Hayden was a bit skinnier and taller than Austin is but those big eyes and the bleach blonde hair make them look almost like twins! Anyways, here's some pics of my "big" boy when he was "little."

Finally...or at least I'm hoping!!

Today I got back from my run and Ryan said Hayden got up on the toilet and went #2!!! Finally!!! I'm really hoping this sticks! Usually he goes right in front of the toilet when going #2 and I've gotta clean it up and he says, "bad boy go in the potty" every time to me after he does it. So funny! Anyways, hallelujah he went today "in" the potty instead of "in front." He's got the peeing part down awesome!

Exciting Stuff!

So lots of exciting things have been going on lately, like the good ol' 100th Strawberry Festival, Austin getting new teeth, pulling himself up, and copying every word we say, Hayden doing great on potty training still, Hayden spelling out his name and even wrote it on his own the other night!! (well he wrote the H, A, & Y perfect and then the D, E, N you totally got when you saw him write it but he needs a little work on them still), and lastly...I just booked my hotel for Vegas in September!!!! I booked our airfare almost a month ago maybe but was kind of deciding still where to stay and finally decided! So now it's just waiting till it gets here! I haven't been to Vegas for a couple years and can't wait to go back! We are going with a bunch of our great friends/family and it's gonna be a blast. While we are there Ryan and I will also celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary! Wow I can't believe it! So I'm feeling great tonight...knowing there is an adult trip in the near future!! Love my kiddos, but a vaca with adults is calling my name!! :) Anyways, I hope to post some new pics of the kids this week as we've been having lots of fun outside. Just when I'm not feeling to lazy to put the memory card in the computer to download!!
