It's the holiday season!

We've been super busy these days trying to gear up for Christmas. We did our annual trip to the snow to cut down our tree but sadly it was too cold to trek around much so we weren't successful! I think this is the first time this has happened. It was when it was freezing here, making it even colder up on the mountain. So we ended up at good old Poor Richards getting our tree. We've got it up and decorated thanks to all Hayden's help. He absolutely had a blast putting ornaments on the tree and is super excited this year which makes it really fun. We finally get to use "Santa" to keep him on good behavior. :) This was our first year we have taken the kids to Storybook Land and they loved it. We went with Lins, Ryan, and Dylan. Hayden was especially into it and wanted his picture taken next to each exhibit, while Austin just pointed at everything and ran around. It was too cute! Austin hates Santa and has freaked out both times he's seen him. It's funny though because he always points to him on TV and says "Santa." What a great free holiday event to attend with your kiddos. After Storybook Land we had Lins and the boys over for dinner and cookie baking. Lins and I baked sugar cookies with Hayden and it was so much fun for Hayden. He got to cut them all out and definitely enjoyed decorating them...loves sprinkles! We attempted at our Christmas card picture with our boys and needless to say it went as expected. At least we got a good picture of each of them even if not together, that we were able to use. I got Hayden, Austin, and Dylan matching Xmas pj's and we tried to get a picture of all 3 together but I think we waited too long into the evening when they were all tired and restless. Oh well, we still got 10 days to try right? :) Here's some pics of our holiday fun we've been having:
